Small-Batch Canning

Our small-batch canned goods are foraged, gathered, grown, created, and made right here in the Peace River Valley. We not only grow and source locally what we can, we spend many hours in the Peace River area foraging what the land has to offer. Since we have such a short growing season up here in the North, we are dedicated to the importance of food security and believe that filling the pantry with local goodness is such an important part. We also love coming up with unique flavour profiles that you won’t find anywhere else! This is not your Grandmother’s canning. Favourite flavours include: Sweet Tea Peaches, Apricot Rosemary Jam and a Smoked Saskatoon BBQ Sauce you won’t soon forget. We currently sell our goods at the Fort St. John Farmer’s Market and other seasonal markets in the area.

Canning Team

Our canning and skin care team consists of Katy Peck, Jody Watson and Shellie English-Dunn. We are a group of ladies who love to get together and wild forage, preserve harvests and create local goodness while we enjoy each other’s company. Katy and Jody grew up living off of the land and preserving. We both enjoy coming up with new and unique flavour combinations and are always experimenting on how to use unique, local ingredients.
